Answer me this...
Warnings: Violence is extremely likely
Location: The warehouse district
Characters: Batgirl and The Riddler
When: A week after her arrival? During the morning
Summary: Batgirl attempts to get the drop on The Riddler by finding him during the day. Things of some sort ensue.
Barbara moved swiftly, preferring speed to cover. Her purple costume didn't work as well in the daylight as the night. She was betting that The Riddler wouldn't be expecting a visit from a bat in the middle of the day, though.
She slipped through an open warehouse door, thankfully embracing the relative darkness. Once her eyes had finished adjusting, she could move deeper inside. She was scouting for any signs of habitation, or footsteps in the dust. Riddler was around here somewhere.

Beneath the sound of her own footsteps, the barely-there noise of her own cape rustling, there was a tiny, continuous humming.
There were many massive steel crates in the place, strewn--or perhaps somehow shoved--around in ways that weren't particularly sensible for storage. There were narrow paths left between them, but the darkness there was nothing like the darkness of the outer layer of the warehouse. It was deeper, more.
And if she dared slip in, the minute humming would be muffled even further.

She strained her ear for the muffled humming, and moved deeper into the warehouse. She reached down to her utility belt to make sure she had a few of her homemade batarangs in place.

And even further along, there was a single, solitary chair, facing her and completely unoccupied.
*Bursts back in here* Surgery recovery sucks, but so does inactivity. 8U
She moved toward the monitors instead. She felt an odd sense of security, instead of fear, coming closer to technology. She'd been having a surprisingly easy time using it of late.

--and then the one she glanced at next went black.
"Did you come here to find answers, Batgirl?" Riddler asked harshly, sitting in the chair like a throne. The chair that had been empty just a second ago, right?

"You don't seem in the mood to give answers, today. Mayb I should come back later."
