Summary: Peridot performs a stealth mission. The objective? A thank you.
It's a good thing Gems don't have to sleep for a myriad of reasons.
It meant that the humans bothered her less during the night. It means Rose Quartz spends a lot of time out of her home looking for ways to occupy herself. It meant Peridot didn't miss her window to get into the apartment she shared with the one known as Greg, and it meant that Greg would have to listen to her once she got the drop on him...
The door was easy enough to bypass, a simple pin and tumbler mechanism that she conquered with minimal effort. All she had to do was find her target and throw a "thank you" at him until he accepted it...She followed the horrid racket it turned out he was making with his mouth and nose to the bedroom. Humans were so disgusting and...
No, she was here to thank him. She couldn't start thinking that way if she wanted things to go well. But if he could sleep with that noise then there was no way he could hear her, could he? Perhaps she could...
She slowly pushed his jaw shut and clamped her robotic fingers against his face. She was pleased. That did seem to take care of the noise!
"Greg. Wake up."
