Greg smiled, faintly, at Rose's cheerful attitude. Maybe it wasn't the best suited for the atmosphere, but she wasn't the sort to let a mess like this keep her down. He was glad someone, at least, could find something to be chipper over. "Leonard's from the future," he told her, half-whispered as though it were a secret. He was too tired to piece together all the reasons talking like that was a bit silly.
"Bed sounds great," Greg agreed. "You earned it, Casey." He really meant it. Whether or not leaving had been a good idea, Casey had risked himself for their sakes and taken out a nasty enemy.
"We should all get some rest, ASAP." Maybe they'd listen, this time. He was ready to conk out the instant Rose was patched up, himself. Not a second sooner, though.
